Trabus Technologies is Hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer Near San Diego, CA
- At least five (5) years of DoD/DoN Cybersecurity experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer, and familiarity with cyber capabilities and fundamentals.
- Communication skills, attention to detail, and being a self-starter.
- Technical Writing
- Assist the GTRI team in identifying information types and flow to support categorization of the systems, develop required documentation and artifacts, and attend collaboration meetings as required
- Provide artifact support and collaboration justification for the selection of security controls
- Develop documentation and drawings to meet security control requirements, System Security Plans, contingency plans and monitoring strategies, as required
- Assist the GTRI engineering team in the assessment and evaluation of implemented Security Controls, and aid in the development of engineering change recommendations to meet security controls, if required
- Develop test plans, conduct assessments, and evaluate test results for security control compliance
- Assist the GTRI engineering team in identifying remediations and mitigations for assessment findings
- Conduct final reviews of artifacts, information, images, documentation, and other content in eMASS for final determinations and submission to the approving authority
- Receive feedback and address approving authority concerns on system risk, documentation and testing
- Have at least 4 years of experience with direct management of DoD program(s).
- Be proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Teams.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Have excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, procedural compliance, and the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Have the ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, and to adjust schedule to address workload demands and meet deadlines.
- Prefer at least 5 years' experience with direct management of DoD program(s).
- CompTIA Security , and/or IAT Level II.
